Collector's Edition Announced!
The only part that interests me compared with the normal version are those 16 pages of extra npcs.
$150?
Taking into account currency rates, and P&P, I'd be paying about £150 or so for that, if I decided to order it.
That's insane, even for the case and extra content.
By the way, shouldn't it say "Writ of Execution:" and not "Write"? I am mistaken somehow?
So I get excited and go to order it. Hmm.... Seems Australia's states don't come up. No matter, I'll just write it in other states.
Okay, time to se- THE CHEAPEST POSTAGE IS $100? WHAT THE -EXPLICIT-?!
Seriously. Whut. The. Hell.
Derp. I'm REALY tempted to drop some cash I shouldn't for that.

SSSOOOOOO nice!
Herp Derp. I was so excited to get in my order i forgot to fill out the name for the writ of execution. Now I'm just wondering who to email to try to fix that.

Just respond to order confirmation...Customer Service team should be able to sort out from there. To be honest, I expect I'll want to change mine once or twice over the next couple of months...

Not cheap, but not too surprising...using the DW CE (12.5 lbs) as a baseline, USPS Express Mail International comes in at $97 (w/ insurance and tracking) for shipping to Australia. International shipping costs are simply insane these days .

Yay for a stable Euro.
By the way, wasn't the Deathwatch CE even more expensive?
That being said, does anyone know how much time the DW CE took from announcement to shipping? Because I'm thinking about having the whole thing mailed to a friend living in the USA who intends to visit next summer...

Nope, Deathwatch was $120, I believe.
And the pound is stable, it's just that for P&P, insurance, plus import customs charges (which I hadn't taken into account in the above figure), most Brits will be looking at £170 or so for it.

I thought the same thing! I'm so glad I got my order in. I own every Chaos book going all the way back to Realm of Chaos - Slaves to Darkness. I would have been quite bummed if I couldn't obtain this gem.
DW CE was 200 dollars without shipping.
Pre-ordered too. Feel better now.

Beat me to it.
DWCE was $213.04 total for shipping to the US.
MILLANDSON must be thinking of the RTCE, that was $120 before shipping.

Aye, I was mis-remembering my CEs
Still, it's still a crazy amount, and even fewer of them than there were Deathwatch CEs, I believe, which means that some of them are guaranteed to end up on eBay for a few hundred dollars/pounds a week or two after they are dispatched.
I was wondering how they would handle the personalization this time as Chaos doesn't seem too big on paperwork, but of course, the Inquisition would certainly be happy to oblige.

You've never heard of the dreaded Administratum Melefic? I've head that the Department of Motor Vehicles was their doing...
Hmm. I kind of want to play one now!
A fool and his money are soon parted.
So here, FFG, take my money! And then send me one of those Black Crusade Collectors Editions as soon as possible!

Heh, I ordered mine today, birthday gift to myself. Any idea on the shipping date? I got the 3-day shipping just to speed it up further.
As they said: First quarter 2012.
Anyone know what the standard Writ of Execution is?
Thanks,
G
Ugh, 2012? That's a bit of time to wait, I might have to pick up the standard edition to hold me over. They should include a free PDF download of the book with Collectors Edition purchase...=/

Since there is currently no PDF release of the book, I'm not sure what good that would do you
