Here's The box I use to organize and store my main GM cards

By Emirikol, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

This is a simple box that I use for my GM cards: Fortune point cards, disease, mutation, wound, condition, magic chaos effect, insanities.

..and here are the rest of the images from the game room. Note the Pathfinder poster on the wall BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ONE FOR WARHAMMER FANTASY ROLEPLAY. :(

I am terribly jealous of that play area.

yes very jealous sorpresa.gif

I believe it's the portion of my house that's considered "under water" ;) I wonder what the bank would call my "shrine to gaming room."

My wife makes us game down there. We've got the bathroom, fridge, microwave, bar, walk-out, and the ever-needed fans for my penchant for food with beans in it. We're really suffering too. Oh. Oh. Oh. I'm so suffering. demonio.gif

Trust me fella's when I say that it's a far cry from playing in a trailer house in South Dakota with slime mold growing behind the couch, holes in the floor (with frost coming through), violent roomies, and regular stop-bys from people who still thought they could buy drugs there. I think the only props I could afford from gaming were from my part-time job incinerating medical waste. Ah, to be in college again....

A couple design tips:

  • Wall color is the same as the Core set for WFRP (wife picked the brown)
  • Got the sorters from The Home Depot pretty cheap
  • Made the tabletop myself from a $20 piece of hardwood plywood. Stain and varnished and placed on a crappy old table with a history of it's own.
  • Buildings are all CONFLIX buildings. Same for the walls and fences. Trees and whatnot are standard trees from the hobby store
  • I usually put down a green sheet of hobby grass (Train-layout style) since we don't need hexes and grids anymore :)
  • I still drag out the battlemats for houses, but we've got enough walls and one of my players donated his Dwarfen Forge stuff.
  • Its set up so as the GM I can quickly grab what I need
  • The computer is an old pos but I can hook it up to the projector for NPC display or Maptool usage
  • The Millenium falcon was bought for my son as a toy..honest ! angel.gif
  • You can see the binders I keep my cards in. Got to recycle the old MtG binder afterall.
  • The plastic river is one of our most used things. Its by pegasus hobbies.
  • The fish dont bite but we tell n00bs that they're piranha and that we keep them hungry

That's not a box Jay, that's a room, a large room.

With it's own fridge...and a bar?

I just want to join everyone else in saying how much we all fricking hate you right know you bloody show off.

wantwantwantwantwantwantwantwantwant....

That's a LOT of WFRP dice too :) How many sets have you had? :)

>dice

Funny you should say that. Half of my extra dice are in a bin behind that one.

I picked up 4 or 5 extra sets of dice. Its enough for each player to have enough. That's not saying much though because I'm a meanie GM that only allows a max 4 starting characteristic.

I didn't take a picture of it, but I keep all the boxes on the shelf above the computer. The artwork's so fantastic though that I was thinking of trying to find a way to face them outwards (SINCE WE DON'T HAVE AN OLD WORLD MAP...AHEM!)

:)
