Did this really quickly so quality is pretty poor. Just wanted to see what a 4th edition card looked like in the style of 2nd edition...

A couple of filters in Photoshop and a couple of minutes inaccurate painting.

It's not terrible accurate of 2nd edition style but if you squint a bit, and with a bit more care it would be getting there.

I had been trying to think of ways to do the opposite, actually, in that I've been trying to find an easy way to take all the 2e stuff they haven't made for 4.5e yet and update them to the new templates, etc. I mean I could do it easily with just the old pictures, but then the art won't really mesh, and I haven't found a real good way to update them yet, or a good way to do the board expansions yet either.

Would be sweet though.

Hmm, I just had a look at the 4th edition board. Don't like it as much as the 2nd edition.

I guess I must be really old, it seems a bit insipid to me. I really don't like the top-down view.

I like the template of the new cards but prefer the original Gary Chalk artwork. Have been considering getting the 4th edition but not so sure now.

My cards for 2nd edition are a bit small and battered though..Ideally I could produce my own deck but I don't have the time.

What size are the new cards? Would they swamp a 1st/2nd edition board (I actually use 1st edition board, better build quality)
