The dragon expansion offors a twist to the game of talisman in a completely different way to the alternate endings system, its as if the Dragon Exp is a kind of uber Alternate ending in and of itself.

I found myself wondering how the new exp could be used with other alternate endings and came to the conclusion that it would be too complicated. i figure that It would be a conscious choice before starting a game to use the dragon expansion system or not. It would be just weird putting the deamon lord at the centre of the dragon realm. And the tower requires the use of the dragon adventure decks.

Is anyone else planning on using alternate endings with the dragon exp other than the ones which came with it?

I like this system though and opens up a lot of future unique campaghn theme expansions as well as additions that could be added to this expasnsion such as new dragon lords and dragon adventure cards. If you are familier with the new miskatonic horror expansion box then I can see a similar type of expansion for Talisman possiblr adding new dungeon and highland cards, extra dragon lords/cards and so on.

I think that it is not so complicated.

You can just use the Domain of dragon ending, so that you can use the new cards with other endings.

You could skip the draconic endboss, and use a demon lord for example, or you can use sacred pool and dragon domain together etc

The way I will do is that, when 1 character reaches the CoC, the dragon lord which is currently king will be placed in with the other alternative endings and have a possibility to be drawn.

I'm still let down by the FFG tease about the Horrible Black Void!!! Really really hope they put this AE out as an extra, or a POD.
