Conspiracies of Chaos

By dboeren1, in CoC General Discussion

With the reprint looming closer, I dug up some old spoilers to see what was in this pack. Granted, there are likely at least some changes, but it looks like some of the faction-specific conspiracy cards are actually pretty good. Might this pack finally make conspiracy cards a bit more common? Are we likely to see significant changes or we just don't know yet?

Also, is there anyplace I can look for definitive release dates? I've found at least three different dates online for the Jade Emperor and Conspiracies of Chaos packs and it would be great to know accurate dates for these and future packs.

Check the Upcoming link on the top of the page. You can filter "Living Card Games" to reduce the chatter.

Typically when a product goes to green: on the way to stores, it means you will most likely see it by the Friday of the following week. The two APs that are currently green changed last week so I would start pestering your local store on Friday. Beyond that, dates for product releases any further out is a bit of a guessing game.

That's one of the places I was looking, but the listed dates on both packs is still 9/14/2011 which is clearly not correct.

Thanks for pointing out the color codes though, I'd missed those previously since I was just looking for the dates themselves.

Interestingly, I emailed MiniatureMarket (online vendor) last night asking them when they expected to get these packs in and they told me "They are not set to release until late October/early November." so I'm still not sure when they'll really show up. I guess the best thing to do is just keep checking.

I have a subscription for the APs with the best game store in the know universe or the spheres beyond, Endgame. The lads at the shoppe call me when they receive new product. I will post an update by Friday evening about the new APs...

I have Jade Emperor in hand (as well as new AGoT Chapter pack) and Endgame informed me that Conspiracies of Chaos will be arriving today from a different distributor.

I am at work and do not have the cards right in front of me but... After our group looked through the JE AP we had the following thoughts:

Hastur was the big winner with 3, count 'em 3, excellent cards.

Syndicate got a great Character as well as a synergistic double dealing Event with a bonus Character that is not that great but with the best art in the AP.

MU has an awesome Support card that provides Willpower with added bonuses, the best being it is NOT an attachment.

These are just some of the high points, as this AP is top tier. If JE is any indication of what is to come from the new CoC Lead Designer then expect big things my friends... big things!

Cool, I'll have to see if I can find a copy this weekend. Apparently Conspiracies of Chaos is on sale now too according to the News post.
