Inside the Blind Tesseract

By .falstead, in Dark Heresy Gamemasters

Hello,

I haven't really posted in these forums before but I was hoping some seasoned game masters might have some advice for me. I've just started the final book of the Haarlock Legacy and I'm starting session 2 for that today. My group has played through the first two books as well as the house of dust and ash and a small stand alone adventure. We've been playing for close to a year now as the same play group and I really want Dead Stars to be a memorable conclusion.

On that note I'm trying to plan ahead to make the encounters within the Blind Tesseract truly frightful and memorable. Ideally I'd like to do 13 encounters spread out over past, potential futures and a twisted outlook or reliving of things they've already done. For sure I'll use the three pre written encounters in Dead Stars and in addition I know I want their first encounter within the Blind Tesseract to be a horrendous reliving of the pit from the start of Tattered Fates. Other than that I have a few ideas but none that I'm happy with.

I really like the thought of having encounters that force the acolytes into choosing one fate or another as a way to foreshadow their final choice at the end, particularly since the group has begun to fragment into two groups with different opinions on how to do things. Anyone who's already run this have any suggestions/advice/inspiration/encounters I can blatantly steal?

Thanks!
