Since I don't have the book yet just wondering if Deva's are mentioned in Those Who Walked Amongst Us?

yes, i mentioned them a few posts ago, they are both a race and a nephelim. they make good summoner spellcasters.

They get bonuses to their Summoning Skills for one. +10 to all 4 for a Deva and +10 to Banish and Summon for a Deva Nephilim IIRC

yes

They can also perceive immaterial/invisible spirits and creatures with their third eye, which is a nice advantage for a summoner.

Not to mention the fact that by looking at a Being Between Worlds or a Spirit for 3 rounds with their 3rd eye, they know their true name. Very handy for Summoning and it's related skills.

Now on Amazon.co.uk .

Perhaps it's already been posted (I'm not scrolling all the four previous pages), but...

...

...did anyone notice that Vetala have NO NIGHT VISION?! This really makes no sense at all to me, since they LIVE only in darkness. Does anyone beside me believe this is absolutely and completely ridiculous?

The Vetala (especially the Nephilim) just seem broken to me. There are actually more negatives to the characters than positives. It would almost be more fitting for a player to get an XP bonus for taking on such limitations. With the XP penalty and all of their drawbacks, I doubt I'll ever see one of my players try one, sadly.

after having read through half the book at a friend who owns it i wanted to buy one.

Then i realized that i already walkt around with 3 books and a laptop to keep tabs on everything.

Therefore my question: How long before TWWAU is available as a pdf-download?

A legal one from FFG themselves of course. (I'm quite sure some nut already ripped his book apart, scanned the pages and posted that somewhere on the internetzes ...)

Unfortunately, bad news.. as far as I understand, FFG isn't doing Anima PDFs anymore.. HUGE bummer IMHO and a major mistake for them to make in my eyes *shrug*

Strange. They have a couple of PDFs on Drivethrurpg.com

You mean they're not releasing any more?
