If the crown regent uses his redirect can the attacker redeclare stealth?
In the faq it says so for Knight commander so I was wondering if it was the same for crown regent.

However, remember that the Crown Regent redirects IMMEDIATELY upon the attackers being declared, so the redirect comes long before the attacker declared stealth in the first place. The attacker only gets to declare stealth once - against the "redirected" defender.

(NOTE: Don't get confused by the fact that most people say "I attack with X, stealthing past Y;" they are technically jumping the gun on declaring stealth.)
Thanks for the quick and clear answer.

Recognize the difference in the timing of the redirects. Lord Commander redirects after defenders are (not) declared - and thus after stealth is declared against the original defender. But Crown Regent redirects after attackers are declared - a few action windows before stealth is ever declared in the first place.

Just clarifying Crown Regent redirect.
This is done before the Player Action window between Initiating challenge/Declaring attackers and Choosing stealth targets/declaring defenders, correct? It's important to know that because things can be done during the Player Action window that may make someone want to use the redirect ability. For example - Lost Oasis being used may increase my desire to use redirect.

So, you get to see who the attacker wants to go after and which characters s/he is using for the attack, but you don't get to see ANY passives, Responses, or other Player Actions they may choose to use on those attackers before deciding whether or not to use the redirect.
OK thank you. That's what I had thought but wanted to be sure since that Player Action window could provide be very important challenge changing information in making the redirect decision.
