in that specific power the text says: blah blah damage XD10 (where x is the psykers own psy rating)

And if you have modifiers to your Psy Rating (such as Fettered, Unfettered and Pushed), that is what your Psyker's Psy Rating is for that power.

this power ist absolutely mindboggling powerfull then.

Well yes, it's a Bolt of Change - it's one of the most powerful Tzeentch powers there is.

It's commonly used as an anti-tank weapon in the wargame, so it does need to be potent enough to punch through tank armour.

@vogue

this power ist absolutely mindboggling powerfull then.

And considering what pushing a power often does to the phenomena you can expect, "mindboggling" may be an entirely apt description for the state of the psyker...

Remember that it's still a Psychic Bolt, so it can be completely avoided with any amount of success on a Dodge roll.

...or a Force Field, or Psychic Hood, or Abhor The Witch, or anything else that stops either a ranged power or psychic attack. Double the power, double the ways to shut it down!

not if you delay it and cast it on someone who already used his dodge.

Now you're just being unkind. :D

Especially since the same trick gets around the Psychic Hood. (i.e. if the Psyker uses their reaction dodge they can't easily use the hood to counter.)
