Boxed adventures?

By Crazy Aido, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I was thinking of buying one of them, but which to get? My group might be heading out of Marienburg soon enough, so I thought the witches song, maybe?

The big question for me is, how many games would I get out of each campaign, because from what I read, not many is the answer.

The witches song is a 4 chapter game (which for me is 4 sessions typically). But it depends on how detailed you go and how fast you guys play.

The Gathering Storm is by far the largest packet, which has 3x 3 session adventures and a finale on top of that.

Most other modules offer 1-3 sessions per adventuer.

Witch's song and The Gathering Storm are both useful.

How much social stuff is there in the gathering storm? Because I don't want all combat, all the time, that's really annoying.

Gathering storm is like 75% combat and 25% investigation. I dont recall "social" combats and events except what my players did for themselves. And they did a lot. You can include social situation in some locations, like the farm and the garden. (I´ll not spoil)

Well since I'll probably be the one running it...

Everything depends on you. You can expand the number of independently after social complications, and believe that the population can provide Stormdorf many intrigues.

I also like interacting with people and in my sessions lengthened to sixteen of which nine are intrigue.

Wszystko zalezy od Ciebie. Mozesz przeciez samodzielnie rozszerzyc liczbe spolecznych komplikacji, a uwierz ze populacja Stormdorf moze dostarczyc wielu intryg.

Ja tez lubie interakcje z mieszkancami i u mnie sesje wydluzyly sie do szesnastu z czego dziewiec to intrygi.
