Probably this has been answered before but the search for Berric hasn't show me the thread.

If i have Berric and the opponent manages to reduce his strength to 0 when has Threat from the North what happens? Berric survives or not?

Again... if Berric has Dragon Byie and when defends or attacks against a dragon,did he dies or survives?

If you have no power on your house card, Beric cannot be killed (or discarded). It's really that simple - no effect that would kill him or discard him from play can do so, unless there's power on your house card.

This is reinforced by the FAQ, section 4.3, quoted below.

(4.3) The word "cannot"
If an effect has the word "cannot" in its
description, then it is an absolute: That effect
may not be overridden by other effects."
