First, sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. This is my first post on this website.
One of my players pointed out the Agent of the Throne package to me. I never really read through the elite advance packages in too much detail (one of the players owns into the storm, not me unfortunately). His question was about the Writ of Authority trait. In it someone who serves the Inquisition is described as being a "legitimate and senior agent" and that "The Writ of Authority is often carried in the form of a symbol or icon such as the Rosettes of the Inquisition".
He was wondering whether or not this meant he was considered an Inquisitor since he took this at rank 4, which according to experience charts puts him on par with an Ascension character such as an Inquisitor, and as far as he and I both know only Inquisitors carry the Rosettes and agents in Ascension get Badges of Office, not Rosettes.
EDIT: I got my answer after rereading the Dark Heresy core rulebook.
