Do you like or dislike the knobs around the Dust Base?

I personally don´t dig them very much, but I feel they give them a special distinctive feature from other minis...

I think they are pretty pointless. OK if you paint your bases as inside a factory, as is, but useless for anything else.

I like them. Can't see anything wrong with them.

I like them once you flock the base the industrialness goes away.

They're pretty cool if you plan to keep your minis unpainted. As I've painted my figures, I've also been rebasing them with resin themed bases.

Thinking about rebasing my figs with clear see through plastic basis so no matter what table they are on, they will match the theme.

I painted my bases and covered them with flock ... so much for the bolts.

I intend on painting the 'bolts' on the bases in different colors / patterns to distinguish my squads once they are all painted and flocked.

And I dont know what others have painted theirs, but each of my forces will have different themes so its again, easier to pick them apart.

Just my thoughts, past that, they dont bother me.

As for the rest, either keep this "factory" default or do more elaborate "outdoor" terrain on them... at one point, it will look silly depending on the setting of your fight. Having outdooor in a base / factory is not better than having a base / factory in a desert battle.
