Have these been officially announced? Do we know for sure their release date is in 2011?

They were on display at GenCon, along with the heavy command squads. I'm pretty sure their label said "4th Quarter" like everything else.

Ah ok. I saw pics of them at GenCon, but never saw/noticed those labels. I figure until there's an official announcement, everything's still up in the air. Although FFG seems to be better at getting things out at the announced time than other board game companies. (Or perhaps they just wait until very close to delivery date to announce the product.)

The display has the building in a snow setting so makes sense the internals are snow too as there is no roof, I expect the floor tiles are double sided, like all the other card components.

Chef being Allied doesn't jive with the comics as far as I'm aware, he's clearly working in the Axis kitchen.

Angela looks completely strung out, but the building looks awesome. The description leads me to believe it will have a single building (or the parts for a single three story building, which could mean you could have a two story and a single or three singles), but I imagine there would be a future 'building pack', just as there is a terrain tile pack.

Chef is an Allied spy .... and was last seen with Sigrid on his way to Berlin .... poor SOB!

Has anyone given thought to the expansion having paper as opposed to hard cardboard tiles?

Will the Premium version of Cerberus have just the painted heroes or will the Building be painted as well? I wonder if we will see Dust Studios put out some more buildings now that the rules are being released for them.

The ammo crates and tank traps weren´t painted in the Premium version, so I bet the building won´t be painted too.

Both Operation SeeLowe and the Revised Core set had painted traps and crates. That was what made me wonder about the building.

-Jeff

Okay, my bad! I was referring to the original Core Set and that what other people told me. ;)

Now I would rather bet on prepainted buildings. :-P

The Ammo crates and Tank Traps in my Premium Revised Core Set were prepainted. And they look cool.

Haha in the comic the chef is funny he fights some zombies. I wouldnt underestimate him.

Yeah, to get away from the zombie trying to drag him onto the helicopter to fly out with Sigrid. Oh but wait, despite that and in the confusion of all the action, explosions and killing, he still ends up stuck with Sigrid in her helicopter! Huh?

"I find it strange that he half-tiles they are using as the building floors have the basic snow texture"

I completely agree. I'm sure I will paint over mine.

I would assume thay are likely to be double siuded like the tile maps and would have more industrial or interior look to them.

Hopefully. But really, you're always inside the building with these - not sure why they'd have snow.

As I'm hoping ot get into Dust Warfare and use these buildings in that game, I'll probably paint over them anyway, just so they don't have the Dust Tactics markings on them.

They don't have any roofs, so when it snow's it will fall inside to.

Ignore the comic. Do not look at the comic. It is aweful.

The issue with it is pacing, writing, dialogue, characterization and plot. It just doesnt work. It looks nice, good art, good design. But the comics are aweful. Even Paolo hated them.

When reading the comics, I felt like pages upon pages were missing and at times like I was reading two very different stories, within the same issue. Things didnt add up or make sense.

Half temted to scan it and rewrite all the thought balloons, dialogue balloons and story boxes.

Wouldn't help. There is a two year gap between each sequence IIRC. Long enough for Joe & the Russian to go from semi-enemies to lovers. Long enough for Sigrid to be captured by the Russkis but somehow get away for the second part.

So what is the armor value of these 2 new figures? They both look like armor 1 to me.

Probably A2 as there are no A1 infantry for them to join and Sigrid doesn't have armour either.
