2 Players on Crown of Command

By galladril2, in Talisman

If 2 characters are are on the Crown of Command at once, when one loses the battle:

a) Can the victor take the loser’s Talisman?

b) If they do, what happens to the loser? Do they stay on the Crown of Command?

c) It is possible to have more than one Talisman at once?

I am asking because it is a little unclear as to what would happen to a character who loses his Talisman at this point, or if it is taken by Acquisition.

I feel that you have already bypassed the Valley of Fire, and traveled up the stairs to the Crown of Command, ergo, the Talisman has served it’s purpose. You could have it taken by acquisition, or even turned to gold at this point, and you wouldn't need it anymore, unless something forced you back down to the Middle or Outer Region

If not, what happens to a character at that point? Do they move down to the Valley of Fire, and ergo, back to the inner plane?

Thanks in advance.

Sure, if you want. Alchemy/-ist + Mercenary might be a reason.

He probably has a grudge against you, giving him a spiritual bonus to his dice rolls partido_risa.gif ! They stay on CoC and hit back at you.

Talisman is needed to enter Valley of Fire, after that it's "useless". Best time to Acquisition/Destroy Magic/Random is when someone is about to enter Valley (taking into acount when each of those spells can be cast of course).

Just a simple question:

1. Can I cast spells between the regions?
(Can't find it in rulesheet)

P. 13 of the rulebook (you can download it if you only have Upgrade pack, like me):

"Spells affecting characters affect them wherever they are on
the board, no matter which Region. Spells affecting creatures,
however, cannot affect creatures encountered in the Inner
Region."

last night we had this situation:

2 players on the Crown of Command, the Assassin (evil) and the Minstrel (good).

the Assassin had the Runesword, but loses the first combat (in the Minstrel's turn),

so the Minstrel took the Runesword from him and then discarded it on the CoC space (he was good so he could not hold the Runesword).

The Assassin, in his turn, couldn't take the Runesword from the CoC space because he's forced to encounter the Minstrel, not the space!

right?

Was this right or the Minstrel, beeing good, couldn' t even TAKE the runesword from the Assassin?

If the Minstrel was still Good, then you couldn't take the Runesword.

We play, and I beleive it is a widley accepted rule even thought it is not in the rule book, that on the Crown of Command in combat you may only take lives. It just solves all this back and forwards crap.
