Sacrifice that unit at the end of the turn.): Units that have already been declared as attackers can still attack (and add damage) when they are corrupted in the action phase after the declaration of attackers. So I assume that Bray Shamans can attack and give his power to another unit if is declared as an attacker and then triggers this ability during the following action phases before assignment of damage. Is this correct?

Yes you can do that.

More precisely :

- You can do that before declaring defenders

- You can do that after declaring defenders

As long it is before assignation of damages.
