A few quick questions...

By The lol, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

...that I didn't find the answers to in the rulebook. I realize that some of these questions are completely newbish... but anyway.

1. When you redirect a challange via Crown Regent, who does the attacking opponent declare stealth to? You, the initial target? Or the new target? I'd like to know the same for the case, where you decide you want to protect a player who you support? Does the attacking opponent declare stealth to him or to you?

2. The next question is about the card Motley. If the opponent doesn't have any gold, can he defend and attack with that character, or is paying one gold the condition, he has to meet, to initiate an attack(or declare the character with Motley attached as a defender)?

3. The Dominance strength and gold counting happens at the start of the Dominance phase. Which happens first, then? Daario Naharis' "at the beginning of the dominance phase..." action, where he discards one gold... or the counting?

4. Milk of the Poppy also "deletes" all the deadly, renown, infamy... all the other stuff, yes? Including gold/initiative moderators?

5. Can Bronn's(core pack) ability target Bronn?

I'll probably come up with more questions in near future, but that's pretty much it for now. Thanks for your time and answers.

EDIT: Here's one more. Melissandre(core) gives, while she's standing, +1 strength to all Asshai characters. When you kneel her for attack or defense, does she still have the bonus for the duration of that attack?

Keep in mind that I'm new to this as well, and haven't had a chance to test my understanding of the rules against that of anyone outside my circles - but since I spent a good portion of yesterday re-reading the FAQ in detail after my own set of quick questions (and ktom clearing up many misconceptions), here are my answers (with citations, so if I'm wrong at least you know why!)

1. The Crown Regent Redirects the challenge directly after the challenge and attackers are declared, so in the FAQ framework actions window between "kneels attackers" and "declares stealth targets" You still get to declare stealth against the new target. The support situation is different - because the supporter can only declare defenders after the original target declared none (unopposed). This is specifically illustrated by the example in the core rules under "The Multiplayer Titles: Supports" (Core rules, p16)

2. If he has no gold, he can't attack. Otherwise, it would say something like "must give you one gold, if able". The "in order to" indicates it's a cost, which must be paid.

3. I'm not 100% certain here (still very new to this game), as I'd have to look at Dario again, but I assume his passive triggers in response to the framework action "Dominance Phase Begins", which happens before "Reward Dominance". There isn't a window for player actions, but there is a chance for responses/passives to be triggered by the beginning of the phase.

4. It does in fact blank anything that's a part of the text box, including keywords, gold, initiative modifiers. It does NOT blank crests and icons (Military etc), as specified in the FAQ (Section 3.9)

5. Yes - there's no specific wording against it, or reason why doing so would result in a contradiction.

No. What made you think it might be otherwise?

Hm... I wasn't sure because of a different wording. Uneasy Truce, for instance, says "In order to...", while Motley says "...must give each time...".

Conveniance, I guess... :)

Thank you, both, for quick answers. :D
