Haven't seen any topics about this. Has anyone tried the new PoD expansions? Which would you recommend getting first? I like the idea of running into Brown Jenkin & getting more use out of the witches, but I know next to nothing about the Silver Tablet. Any comments?

I have both. I have already played SOTW once and it was awesome. ST looks cool. I do not think you can go wrong with either choice. Heck if you cannot decide, i'll guees you'll just have to buy both

Haven't played ST yet, but I think I might like the story premise a little better than SOTW. However, SOTW was a lot of fun. Yeah, you really can't go wrong either way. I'll get a chance to play ST in a few days, so I'll update here on that one.

I only played SOTW for now and it was cool. I think both are good choices though.

I got Silver Tablet in the mail the other day, and I must say it looks pretty brutal. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but looking at the cards and the GIANT layout for the scenario, it looks like it'll play at a higher difficulty. Lots of cult stuff, like sacrificial daggers, robes and such make this a really dark themed expansion, too....well darker than a game like this already is

Agreed. Silver Tablet is brutal to investigators. Personally, I enjoy Season of the Witch more. Til Death Do Us Part will be in my possession this week!

I enjoyed more the Silver Tablet. The Season of the witch monsters mechanics is too similar to the inner sanctum. Apart from this, both are interesting.

I have now played one game of 'Til Death Do Us Part, as Keeper, and I can say Tom Jolly appears to have made the map more accessible to investigators to win. As an undefeated Keeper still, I can say it was definitely the closest session I've had to losing and a welcome challenge. The set also comes with nice comedic and gory detail, more items than "You Find Nothing of Interest" cards, and new "Infection" cards. I enjoyed it very much. Most of the exploration cards however seem to be repeats of Silver Tablet, which is the far more lethal expansion for investigators.

Under my first impression and overall experience playing Mansions (a lot), I now would recommend this expansion, 'Til Death Do Us Part. The expansion adds a story that will challenge the Keeper and give investigators a notch under their belt. The cards are very cool and the story is great. After that, I would again recommend Season of the Witch. The last session of Season was easily one of my favorite moments in Mansions-play history for me (next to burning people alive with Pyromaniac in Blood-Ties). Silver Tablet, personally, is either just an addition to the collection or if your investigators are experienced and usually win against the Keeper (rare).
