has fantasy flight games gone bust??

By Error 718, in Dust Tactics General Discussion

I have placed an order with this comapny for dust tank killers at the end of july and it was posted on the 16th of august.....so i think i have left it longer enough and phoned....well there is no one to speak to, the phone options dont pass you on to anyone you can talk too the mail box for customer service is full and no one replys to emails.......

1) so either this company cant be ar*sd to help me sort this problem

2) its gone bust and took my money

3)Or is just a really poor company....i dont want to think this because it has some great games but the service is very, very poor :(

Any help from people here would be great if they could point me in the right direction etc

Thats sucks man. All I can say is I was told their customer service is pretty bad. I've ordered stuff from them and it came right away, but a friend of mine has ordered stuff and it took like a week extra. I've never heard them taking longer than a week or 2. Did you try the fail safe just keep hitting 0 a 100x until you get to someone? That usually works for me especially on Xbox Live number lol. Try to find someone elses email all you need is their first initial and last name then put @fantasyflightgames.com on the end. I'd try that.

Here is the link to the contact form. Ive always had good luck with this as it goes to the right person for each department. They have always replied fairly quick.

I am trying to figure out why you want to pay full retail when there are places online to get your models at a nice discount ... and that includes Amazon.com

I refuse to order from FFG directly, I got tired of giving them full price, extremely high shipping and then waiting for weeks for stuff to arrive. If i order form the parent company I expect to get the product relatively fast. I shouldnt spend a extra week or two not buying the book from my FLGS and not paying extra for it just to try to support FFG direct.

I concur: why would anyone order directly from them? It is better to get it through your FLGS if you have one, Ebay, or BBG marketplace, THEN Amazon. I am beginning to believe that FFG's customer service department is a spin-the-bottle system, where your call goes off in a random direction and could end up on anyone's desk in their office. Perhaps they use a random generator on the phone lines??

If I pay retail it's to support a LGS ... but I don't have one of those, just some friends and game boards in my garage.
