I'm new to the game and thus still learning the intricacies of the game. If I play To the Spears! as my plot card can any characters with more than one icon participate in multiple challenges as attackers as long as they survive each challenge? I'm a little confused on whether the not having to kneel to attack means I can use them for one challenge and then leave them standing to defend against challenges initiated against me later or does this truly mean that since the characters don't kneel I can use a character that has all three icons as an attacker in multiple challenges that I initiate as long as they are not killed or discarded. Please enlighten me, thanks!

There's is nothing in the rules that forbids a character to participate in multiple challenges in the same round.

In game terms, when you go to declare attackers or defenders, the only things the game makes you check is "currently standing" and "appropriate challenge icon." If you pass those, you can declare the character as an attacker or defender.

There is no limitation or check saying "each character can only participate in one challenge per phase, even if they are standing and have the correct icon when the time comes to declare attackers/defenders."
