Cylon Ressurection Ship - Pegasus

Hi there guys,

Now with the Pegasus expansion I'd just like to check one rule: The ressurection ship.

How do you get the super crisis card? Do you need to spend a turn inside the ressurection ship to get it?
Being it now a hazardous area, me and my friends always play it like this: Cylon dies - he goes to the ressurection ship.

So that means that potentnially Cylon leaders infiltrating can always take one more super crisis card, right? Or that a secret cylon that gets killed can stay in the ressurection ship for one turn to get a super crisis card, correct?

Does that mean you do not have the option to exchange them anymore?

Thanks!

Yup, you're right. When a cylon takes a bath, he gets the opportunity to stay on the Ressurection ship to draw (possibly another, if he wasn't executed) super crisis. Obviously, this is strictly better than switching cards.

However, you should always think about whether upgrading a turn's crisis to a super crisis (you've got to spend an action to play the new one, after all) is worth a turn with no crisis at all.

We've found that collecting a 2nd SC card and then stopping there is often the best option. It does cost a turn to draw it, but if 2 Cylons in a 5-player game both have 2 SC cards it gives them a lot more options to screw the humans over in the endgame. Lets face it, some of the SC cards are way more powerful than the others, and some are much more powerful early game (humans can't use OPG abilities? Awesome if it is played early, useless if played late) and I've made some of the "worst" SC cards into game winners at the end. For example, the SC that says something like "Pres chooses: -2 morale or Pres and Admiral both discard their hands" can be brutal at the end when Morale is hurting, and if they have to discount their hands right after their own turns, chances are good that they'll fail at least one other Crisis before drawing again, but it doesn't do much early on when there are still enough humans to pass the skill checks if two players have no cards. Drawing 3 or more SC cards wastes a lot of Cylon actions that could be better spent in other ways.
