I have a question, because I haven’t found anything in the corresponding book. Does a character who starts his career as a Witch gain the basic magic action cards like magic dart, cantrips etc.?
Thanks for any help.
Starting Basic Action Cards and Witches
I dont see anything on it, but I think for an adventuring character, the GM should include them for use.
In my latest game, I gave the witch character only cantrip. I´ll give counterspell after some event liked to magic occurs (if he rp properly about this, thinking and studing something to null the magic wind or something), and magic dart, well, never. I think witches dont cast magic bolts around.
A late answer and thanks for the opinion. I did it like Emirikol and will probably stick with that even so chikago666 suggestions are nice too. I only wonder would you give the witch character channel power? At the moment I didn’t because a witch has no invocation acquired, but I wonder if I should give it to the character once he learned the skill or should he purchase it with xp like a normal action card?
1) Yes, they gain any basic magic actions
2) No, they do not and cannot get channel power. The only way a Witch can gain power is by equilibrium. That is until they advance to Warlock, when they do get access to Channel Power, as I recall.
