This came up in my last game. Mance Rayder reads:

Any Phase: Kneel Mance Rayder to choose 1 The North agenda or location. Until the end of the phase, treat that card as if its printed text box were blank. My opponent used Mance to blank one of my locations that was not a The North location. It didn't cost me the game or anything, but I have always understood the wording on the card to extend Mance's ability only to The North traited locations. The card could have been worded better, but conventional grammar leads me to believe that The North trait restriction does indeed extend to the location you choose to blank. Can someone chime in on this?

Conventional rules of English grammar do indeed extend the requirement of having "The North" trait to the location as well as the Agenda. Proper phrasing for "The North" to apply to just the Agenda would have been more like "...choose 1 location or The North agenda...".
