Tech Use and Precision Telekinesis?

My Psyker has Tech-Use +20. With the use of Precision Telekinesis, could she do some clever things to mechanical objects from a distance?

For mechanical things that she's familiar with, at least?

Examples:

sabotaging a gun, effectively jamming it from a distance (or heck, UN-Jamming a gun from a distance)

disconnecting wires to a power pack

Would you allow that sort of thing?

No. Not because it would be impossible to do such a thing with precision telecinetics (you can actually use any skill which has to do with physical manipulation) but Tech Use takes time. to figure out how a device works you need a minute. and repairs etc (and sabotage is s kind of anti-repair) may take much longer. Tech Use has no fixed time limit but a variable time needed, and is therefore unusable in combat.

You can do some things with P.T. which you can normally swiftly do with one hand. So, unplug wires - yes; switch sawety-lock of autogun - yes; sabotage gun - no (you cant go inside of, first of all)

I think you could do some pretty god things with the PT, maybe not jam the weapon but you could hit the clip release to force someone to have to reload their weapon before continuing. You just have to be a little more creative and hope your GM has an open mind about what can/cannot be done with powers.

Well, I always wanted to do some interesting things with PT like force someone's rifle to aim at someone else and pull the trigger or use Sleight of Hand to steal someone's knife and atack him with it from behind.

Screwing up weapon or mechanics with PT would be somewhat difficult but in the realm of meaby:
- you'd need exact knowledge of how the gun works/looks like on the inside and what to screw up (Common Lore (Tech)-20 ?)
- use Tech Use (still based on Int rather than WP I think) -20 ? (task is still difficult as the weapon/device will propably not be stationary)

all considering that you can move loose parts on the inside of things that you'd not see at the moment; it's very close to stop beating heart from there so it propable won't be allowed.

Now I want to kill people by stopping their hearts with telekinesis.

personally i would let you do anything that you would like with tech - use (but you would need a clear vision of what are you doing), because you can sustain PT and for a experienced Psyker sustain one isn't much a trouble. Now if you fail to sustain the power for the time you need, then the tech - use would fail automatically.
