I hereby suggest that all future formal petitions be banned...before they even start. I know banning is an extreme thing to do. But, sometimes banning is necessary for the cohesiveness of the game. Or maybe we could just put any further formal petitions on a restricted list and a petition can only be put forth if there are no other petitions already out for debate. Awww...frak it. Let's just stop this nonsense all together.

Yeah, but if you ban formal petitions, and include that in the FAQ, what about casual players ? What if they don't follow the FAQ and want to play by themselves because FFG didn't ban formal petitions for anything outside tournament petitions ?

It looks to me like the guy that started the most recent formal petition has apologized for calling it that, making this formal petition unnecessary.

You forgot the "3x Core Set formal petition", which was unnecessary IMO.
