The "best" Mechanicus character - DH Mechanicus or RT Explorator archtypes?

Howdy!

I posted this on the RT boards...

Which one of the character archtypes is more reflective of the Adeptus Mechanicus? I understand that the RT template is equal at start to a DH Template with 4,000 xp, but that aside, which archtyes are more flavourful, thematic, and balanced?
