Okay, what is an Angelus Bolter? I can't find it anywhere in the rulebook, but people keep saying it is the best sniper weapon, so what is it?
Angelus Bolter?
You can find it in the Hive Worlds section of The Inquisitor's Handbook.
It's basically a bolter with a tiny bit more range, 2d10 damage, a three-round clip and the Accurate quality. This means that, if you hit with four degrees of success after an aim action, it rolls 5d10 for damage and discards the lowest - at pen 5. So yeah: A very nasty sniper weapon.
It can be found in the inquisitor's handbook i believe. It is a single shot bolt carbine that fires an astartes caliber bolt shell (2d10x) and has the accurate quality.
Also, to the poster above me it does not have the tearing quality so it will roll 4d10 not best of 5d10.
Also, owning/being in possession of the weapon is a crime.
Having ammo for it would be outright heresy.

While technically correct (The best form of correct, don't get me wrong), it is a common house rule to grant all Bolt weapons the tearing quality, in effect extending the 3.0 errata on the core book to other books as well.
Personally, I'd rather have the Nomad or a Twin-linked Hunting Rifle, but then, I prefer reliability over more swingy damage.

And getting ammo for it is a *****! It being only available on the (very) black market in Gunmetal City. Availability all other places are going to be practically zero.
