Threat from the North is a constant effect, so it is in effect immediately, before you resolve any "when revealed" effects. However, you would still be able to save Viserys, because his ability can save him from both kill and discard.
Except Threat has the 'cannot be saved' proviso 
. So Viserys would be discarded.

I don't know. Thorondor said "Threat from the East" when he meant "Threat from the North" in his tourney report. "Threat" plots are the bane of german-speaking players, apparently.

I know. I hope the missing two cardinal directions are still way off. And I sincerely hope they don't go to the other points of the compass, ever. I mean, I surely can do without "Threat from the Northeast By North". The possibilities there are endless...*shudders*
