How can anyone with means and opportunity NOT attend this event?

MoV is the *best* Tournament Organizer. Evah.

And Las Vegas? Is there a better place to go?

I am so there!

And I am waiting to see if The Orleans is going to make their "Thank you for being a Degenerate Gambler" offer for a free room in October.

Also, as a point, tournament is Smoke 'Em if You Got 'Em. Whatever chapter packs you got your greedy little mitts on, as long as it's been released to the general public (IE you didn't steal a Lions of the Rock from Amazon's warehouse or something), you can use it.

Here's hoping.

I'm going to do my best to be there! Thanks for organizing this event!

****! I wish this was happening one week later.. You'd have three Baltimore players out there to participate. :-/

Very exciting! I can't confirm quite yet, but I am doing my best to attend... hopefully I can bring some of the San Diego meta with me! Thanks for organizing and giving plenty of notice! :)

I have most of the prize support in for the event, and squared things away with the location and food vendor. Would it be possible for everyone who's planning to attend to post that they're coming, and how many are arriving with them? I'd like a rough head count so I can plan for enough food.

I have a pair from Utah, as well as The Don and Imrahil, and my local playgroup (around 6-8 people, depending on who can get the day off) who will be in attendance.

As a reminder there is both a Melee AND Joust tournament, and prizes for both!

Thanks again =)

WOO! Gonna be a party!

I will check with the San Diego guys on Facebook.

I think I can make this happen. I will count this as my birthday weekend.

AceManUSC and I will play.

I have added a still-sealed AGoT Card Coffin deckbox made by Cheese Weasel as a prize for the Vegas event.

Definitely attending! Ross will be there too! What hotels are you guys staying at?

Wish I could go that weekend. How often do you have these sorts of things?

This is the first, but I think I can safely say that it will be far from the last. Speaking for Maester of Vegas, The Don and myself, we will find almost any excuse to hang out together in Vegas, so AGOT tournaments are perfect. :)

On the road- WHO'S EXCITED?!

How did the tournament go?

Looking forward to hearing the house break down and winning deck types. And a general synopsis of the

Sorry I couldn't make it but I enjoyed the casual games I played with you Vegas guys about a month back when I was passing through.

It went pretty well, I think! We had 12 for the Melee, and 10 (I think?) for the Joust. The Melee meta was dominated by Bara rush- there were at least four, and two made the final table, along with the two Targ Dragon HTTIC decks in the field. There were a couple Greyjoy Unopposed, and a couple Stark. Everything else was 1-of, I think. The winner was Ross Thompson from San Diego, one of the Targ Dragon players.

For Joust, there were 2 or 3 Martell decks, Ross' dragon deck (he only had one deck with him), a Bolton deck, 2 neutral house Brotherhood decks, a Lanni kneel, a Bara Maesters deck and my Targ Burn Maesters, which was ultimately victorious. Hopefully a good time was had by all!

Nice. If I make it back to Vegas I'll stop bye the coffee shop for some more games.
