Why 3 Great Keep?

By ktei2008, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

I notice that may Stark decks have Great Keep x3. Basically this is just a location which costs 0 and gives you adding 1 gold. But I also notice there are may other kinds of such locations (which costs 0 and give 1 gold as well). So why not put 3 different such locations in a deck so that you can have all of them in play at the same time because they have different titles.

Am I right or there are some rules disallowing this? Thank you guys

The difference in titles have nothing to do with how many you can play. Since the GK is non-unique, there is no limit to the number of GK you can have in play. However, because the GK has the Limited keyword, once you play it, you will not be able to play another card with the Limited keyword that turn.

I think what you are missing here is the understanding of the Limited keyword. The Limited keyword is title blind. For example, if you play a GK, you will not be able to play another GK, or a Northern Fiefdoms, or a Searoad, or a Godswood, or a Eastern Fiefdom, etc. The Limited keyword also has no impact on the number of GK you can have in play.

Thank you very much! We've been playing this all wrong for a long long time!
