Just a simple question (wasn´t able to find the answer in the official rules):

If Event / Stranger cards don´t specifically state that they are discarded or remain on the space, how are they dealt with ?

I assume events are discarded and strangers (like places) remain on the space ?

I have no specific cards in mind, just a general question about the basic rules of the game...

In general, you're right. - But be careful and read the text of the cards closely - there are some events that don't get discarded after resolving and there are strangers that leave after they are dealt with / not dealt with.

Yeah, normally the cards should have instructions on them about when they are discarded. Perhaps if you could mention some card names, users could check and answer directly.

Strangers/Places usually stay on the board until they're destroyed or discarded by some effect. Events are resolved immediately or last a few rounds, after that they go to the discard pile. One thing that may not be clear is that Events that last many rounds (e.g. Blizzard) stay on the space where they've been drawn and count as face-up cards towards "draw card" spaces.
