Hey Guys,
I've been GM'ing for blah blah years, you know where I'm going with this. I've picked up WHFRPG, for a second time. Yes, I owned it before and it scared me a little. I also didn't think I could get my "Super-Friends" back together to game anymore. Well, I was wrong about that last part. So, I got WH once again and need to know something from you all...Can I run a WHRPG with 5 Players?? I know the Core Set only supports 3 Players. If I pick up the Adventurers Toolkit and an extra Set of Dice Pack, do you think I would be covered? What do I need to get to make this happen?
The Second part of my thread of questions is...Do you think WHFRPG can even support 5 players effectively, or do many of you think it was effectively designed with only 3 maaaybe 4 players in mind to function properly?? I'm on the fence between this game and n old Classic: Dragonlance 5th Age Dramatic Adventure Game, which uses the SAGA System, a diceless system card-only based mechanic. Having read both sets of rules, SAGA is the faster system, but WH is modern and has a lot of bells and whistles. Also, playing a "dead" game vs. a supported game makes a difference as well. But, I know SAGA can handle up to 6 players with no problem, as we've done it. Can WH bring the bacon??
Thanks for reading!!
