UK, London - 11 September, St Christophers Inn, 12.00pm

By LoneWanderer, in 3. AGoT Organized Play

Inspired by the unexpectedly high turnout last time, I've booked us in for a weekend that doesn't clash with a LoB day.

As usual, the plan is to settle in for games starting at midday, pickup melees (multiplayer games) to start with, with people pairing off into jousts (1v1 games) as the day goes on (should they wish). Games on offer will come in a wide variety of flavours, ranging from 'incredibly casual' to 'pre-Stahleck training session'. Carriages at around 5.00 - 6.00pm.

As ever, new players are more than welcome. No previous experience of the game is necessary, all of us are more than happy to teach rules and loan cards if required.

Venue is the:

St Christopher's Inn
121 Borough High Street
London Bridge, London SE1 1NP

Will be there, bla bla, the usual.

Also, leaving Measters at home (well, OK, in the big white cardboard boxes that my collection lives in and which i'll probably be bringing to the meetup anyway). After the complaints I recieved about my deck last time, I figured I should probably lay off Maesters.

English player make a national?

French West players are very interested

Leaving the country for a month the following day, so I think my wife would like me to stay at home! probably rules out October too- hopefully make it down around November!

Well, that was good fun. Anyway, for the next meetup, I'd like to try something slightly different - perhaps the Kingsmoot Multiplayer variant from Kings of the Sea or Civil War from Princes of the Sun? I think a Baratheon Civil War would be nice and thematic....

I'd be up for that. Both options sound like fun.

More than happy to build a teetering 200 card 'Baratheon Civil War' deck for people to have a go at if you like? I can even mix in a few insane CCG cards to give it an added 'twist' if people would enjoy (and it'd be relatively fair, what with everyone sharing one deck; I guess).

Also, regardless of responses, I'll build some kind of Greyjoy deck in preparation for a Kingsmoot game (because theme is everything ).

Any update on the next meetup?
