If anyone still plays this, they have a new sci-fi version out called planet storm.

Yup, Planetstorm is pretty fun. I think they made a horrific mistake by making the entire flippin' basic set untradeable though. I doubt I'll be terrible interested in playing after I finish up the single player missions.

didn't notice. never traded much in warstorm (i usually needed the one or two tradable cards i had). I'm okay with chugging along at a slow speed trying to make my way through the higlander (or partisian) brackets without spending $$ (though i did drop $5 on the elf campaign as i thought it was priced much clsoer to what you got, and i did sign up for a free trial for something to sneak in 50 CCs and got some orc and undead squads)

Yeah, that trial offer to get 50 CC is pretty awesome.
