This gender-limited stacking rule wouldn't work, because gender can be changed by Demitri's action, Midnight Bliss. So if they were both named "King," then you could have King (Tekken) get his gender switched by his opponent (with MB) during an attack on his own turn; the King player could have played Seals or NoEggs to take care of any lack of symbol match between him and King (KoF); then the King player plays King (KoF) to stack. Two different Kings, both female, stacked.
The solution suggested by GouHadou seems the easiest, even though King II's name usually only appears as "King" in the games. (Very different character from Armor King, who has a different move set, as GouHadou noted.)

I hadn't though of that, but if they could get a series license for Tales of that'd be pretty sweet too.

Technically Mark of the Wolves is Fatal Fury, which is included in the general idea of KoF.
For example, the Terry "Another" outfit seen on the set 10 version of Terry (brown flight jacket) is from MotW.
Yeah, SNK really like their crossovers. That's why Tekken and Soul Calibur seems like it.

never going to happen. I just don't have that kind of luck!
if it were to happen though, I'd pick up the game again without a second thought! I have alot more money now too (hint hint).
I don't care if it's the series or not as long as they can secure ToS, KoR and preferably ToP.
