so many characters on the slection screen i couldn't tell, but i know Eddy is in the game for sure. used him, christie, king and the weirdest looking yoshimitsu of ALL THE TIMES.

sucks to be you. SSB, MvC2, KoF, and Soul Cal 4 are the big fighting games up here, but there's a pretty decent sized VF following. It is slower then other fighting games, but a lot of the basic stuff that works in other games won't work in this. I have a friend who is a ridiculous KoF player, but I got him to try out VF before and it was funny watching him smash at the controller and getting punch, punch, kick out of it .

Weird??? Didn't Yoshimitsu come from that game before Soul Calibur? He had a whole story line with Doctor Baslivitch in the first and second one I thought. Plus comparing costumes, I have to say the one in Soul Cal was pretty reidiculus as compared to the one in Tekken Tag+, Yoshi's been looking awsome!!!

Mmmm.... I think Eddie would end up being the new Ralphial or Maxi.

Anywho, anyone thinking thats it's capcom's other title as in Rival School's? I know it wasn't big but it was an okay game, though you think it would have been added a long time ago?

Meh. You can find ways to cheese the AI in any game. The true measure of a fighter/brawler is it's multiplayer aspect. And spamming a move is only going to work so many times against even a moderatly skilled player in VF.

I knew the joy of head to head Street Fighter since I was 4 years old. The AI is the warmup. The real fight starts when player 2 puts his money in/picks up the controller.

See, the difference lies in the fact that people who are very skilled at KOF XI still have trouble beating Magaki.

I absolutely HATED when someone challenged me before Magaki, because I KNEW that Magaki was the bigger challenge (I played the game when it came out in Japan, so everyone wanted to beat the boss). I'm not full of it, Magaki can be insanely difficult, especially if he goes into Megaman Boss mode and just starts spamming all sorts of projectiles over and over.

Speaking of Magaki, maybe the announcement will be the separation of KOF and Samurai Shodown and the acquisition of generic KOF and SS licenses.

I would personally love to see KoF and SamSho split up, especially if they licensed the entirety of both series. I miss being able to play Charlotte in tournies, and I know that she probably isn't going to be reprinted anytime soon, and I would like to see some of the characters that aren't in KoF 2006 be made, like King and Benimaru.

And I agree about Magaki too, in fact, I find a majority of the SNK final bosses to be quite hard, but none of them have ever gotten me mad the way Krizalid did, I hate that guy...

What's funny is that Goenitz and Magaki give me a hell of a time, but I can take out Omega Rugal no problem. And he DEFINES SNk boss syndrome =/

It would be nice to see a more heavy SamSho release - Charlotte had a lot of great things going for her, imo. Promo Charlotte is still in my "special characters just for me" binder and everything. I could go without another crappy Nakoruru, but a new Sankuro would be nice...especially if his support featured The Unbeatable** and Vanity**.

Same goes for expanded KoF license. Doubt it's happened, though, because that, too, would have been called a "half license" (like SCIV). No King for me yet ;_;

outside of that little bit of business, he wins the cheesiest boss award, because there are characters in the game who i think will never be able to beat him squarely, without cheats.

It just occurred to me: if the license IS Tekken, the odds of me ever getting KoF's King is very, very small, since it's not like KoF/SamSho Hanzo, who IS the same character. For this one, King (Tekken) and King (KoF) aren't even the same gender, much less the same person.

All this talk of Charlotte is reminding me of playing Rare Charlotte in Brawl matches... *wipes away tear* Oh Charlotte, how I have missed ye.

I have no idea about new liscenses or whatnot, but I'd like to see Tekken. It'd give me a reason to beat face with King again (Multiple Throws FTW! just hope there's anti-Bitter Rivals tech)
