Considering we've been getting hints on Tekken for a while know, I'll be surprised it it ISNT Tekken, especially with the new game just around the corner.

Also what I consider in the realm of possibility...SFIV (If it's not part of the SF license already), SNK expansions (KOF12? SSVI is finally coming out in the US too)

I'd think if it were Tekken 6, that its release would coincide with the game's release, or be close enough. Or something.

Whether it is or is not Tekken isn't important right now, I'll get excited the month or so before set 14 when they start releasing spoilers for the set and we get a feel for what characters are being released (which, if the license is Tekken, asks the question of which Tekken will the characters be drawn from).

Personally , im the reverse. I would be super Excited if it was Tekken. I have no love for GG and while I understand it would make a little bit of money for the company, I could give two craps less.

Tekken on the other hand? That is the game i've wanted the MOST in UFS since the get-go. Easily my fav fighting series featuring a TON of char's that I absolutely adore.

The name alone makes me open my wallet

I'm not gonna lie, I've never even seen a Guilty Gear game so I could give two craps about it. And I LOATHE Tekkin with a passion. I guess it's asking too much for World Heroes or Saturday Night Slam Masters huh?

Whatever it will be I am excited as it will bring even more players to my already growing playerbase ;3 . And Im surprised nobody has mentioned DOA. I would love to play the girl with the giant key as she reminds me of my beloved Tira.

Yea regardless of what it is I think everyone is a little excited now. I myself am not that big a fan of Tekken but if it is we should be getting a giant battle panda right? that is something to look forward to xD

Tekken 6...possible...Namco is always looking for new ways to promote thier game.

Devil May Cry/God or war....Seems more like a cool battle box idea then a whole set.

Mortal Kombat...since the death of Epic Battles I have been wanting this one.

Arcane Heart...Great all female fighting game with a solid 20 playable characters that have all different abilities...

Last Blade...a bit unknown but under playmore's control...great 2d fighter with very unique characters....

Neo Geo Battle Colliseum...ANOTHER GREAT GAME with many available charcter...

access to Squaresoft's library...there is a ton to work with...

and finally...Full access to the Capcom library....in other words...find what capcom has to offer and hands it all over...

Benefits of Tekken (which I love):

Two bears; kangaroos; a velociraptor; A WOODEN TRAINING DUMMY; more Yoshimitsu; more psyborgs and robots; another sumo wrestler; more Native Americans; more spy ladies; more blonde guys with flat-tops; more Chinese kung-fu supercops; more kung-fu schoolgirls; more families of crazy half-demon-possessed spikey-haired folks; more tae kwon do masters; more old men.

Benefits of DOA (which I love):

A hellofalot more ninjas; a hellofalot more fan service; Dennis Rodman in an alien suit; more pro-wrestlers; A TENGU; more Russians; a hooting Bruce Lee fan; more old men; some kung-fu and tai chi folks; maybe tag-team mechanics; maybe cliff/wall mechanics; maybe combo throws; maybe counter/parry mechanics (these are all much bigger facets of DOA than any other game).

Benefits of Mortal Kombat (which I don't really like, but I'd be okay with):

A slew of weird ninja-like things (including Scorpion, who I'd play as, and Sub-Zero, who many folks would like); another action star in shades, plus nut-punching; more violence; more fan-service; an electrified god; a bunch of mosters and psychopaths.

It's not worth touching GG, since it won't be GG; but man I wish it was.

It's not worth touching most of the old but less popular licenses. It's not going to happen, but I would love Tobal.

Capcom already gave up its two most popular fighters... except the vs. series, especially MvC2. Now because MvC2 was partially owned by Marvel, it MIGHT just be the sort of thing that takes 3 years to get a license for. On the Capcom side, it gives us: 4 Megaman characters; Captain Commando; Strider; Hayato; Jin; Ruby Heart; Amingo; Son-Son; and possibly a few I'm forgetting, plus more moves for SF and DS characters. On the Marvel side, it would give us a slew of Marvel characters. I think this is doubtful, because STG made comments about specifically avoiding comic book licenses (they were competing with Vs. after all). But it's something to consider.

As if one bear in Tekken wasn't bad enough, it's gotta have two, plus 4 or 5 of the same character (See Jack) 3 Eddies the clones in that series go on and on. Sure you gotta a ton of characters to make, but no variety.

Dead or Alive is just another bland 3D fighter in a sea of them I just hope the announcement is one of the following:

MvC 2, Street Fighter IV, King of Fighters XI, Last Blade, Samurai Showdown 6, Castlevania Judgment (game sucked, but the characters were original)

and none of the following

Tekken, DoA, Mortal Kombat, Super Smash Bros., God of War, Devil May Cry...

Tekken would be pretty awesome. Heihachi, King, Steve, and Bruce would all make it well worthwhile. Meanwhile, more Yoshimitsu is never a bad thing, and then there's the aforementioned dummies, bears, small dinosaur, etc. Besides...how hard would it really be to make a Paul Phoenix card called Prankster**?

GG would be pretty awesome, too. I'd just want Baiken, truth be told. The other characters are pretty awesome as well (INCREDIBLE BAG MAN LOL), but Baiken...o baby! Reversal time! Yeah...

Updates for the current licenses would also be nice, ESPECIALLY KoF. WHERE ARE KING, RUGAL, VANESSA, WHIP, AND JOE?! WHERE IS EAGLE?! More cast of Shodown! DO EET!
