Basically, my core strategy is to have many cheap and effective characters so that I don't need to worry too much about the plots that clear the board. Also, I put in some cards like Guard at Riverrun, The Dragon's Tail, Counting Favors to save me if my hand is discarded heavily by Lannister. At last, there are some characters like Ghost, Stark, Arya, who have strong survival ability to help me if the game is slowed to the end. Make an Example may help when I need a rush when I nearly win the game, hopefully.

That's it. Any thoughts? comments?

Have you considered using Storm of Swords?

The Epic Battle events also let you run more military challenges if neccessary, and I would consider Syrio Forel if you plan to head down the Epic Battlees route and are not strongly against neutral characters.

Yeah, thank you for your review. Syrio Forel, I definitely need to include him. OK, so you mean I need to do more military challenges as many as possible. In terms of military challenge, is direwolf deck better or non-direwolf deck better, from your perspective?

Besides adding military challenges, another issue is the weakness of intrigue challenge defending. When I play a melee battle, I find myself often discarded important cards by Lannister and sometimes even Targaryen. Normally what should I do to compensate this?

endless endurance x3

frozen outpost x3

Don't run the Dragon's Tail - it gives your opponent a net of 2 cards and you a net of 1 card (You would have drawn one of the cards anyway if you hadn't drawn dragon's tail) - it's better to run things like triple Blackfish, or perhaps Storm Dancer, given Stark's defensive tricks.

Muse + Siege... serio.gif

You can't; it's too bad
