Said you were also thinking of Void, so wasn't sure. Yea a bolt pistol a much better gun then a las/auto pistol. Astropath is fine, do whatever you'll have the most fun with.

Well since we arent gaming this week I am going to make a voidmaster instead.....I was thinking about it and i dont know the astropath well enough to play him well. So put me down for Voidmaster.

Also, I was wondering if someone could fill me in on the group and an explanation of the things i have missed.

If someone can fill him in, I would appreciate it.

[ship docking bay]

-"Good morning..bbzzz.... Voidmaster, I ..zzzbbbb.... hope your shuttle fight ..zzbbb..... was satisfactory....zzzbbbb.....I am...zzzbzzzz... Secondus. I will lead you to ...zzzzbbb..... your quarters.

- Why you?

-..zzzzbbbzzz....

- I mean this is a big ship, why are you the secondus, leading me to my quartersw, where is the Captain...

-.... zbbbbzzz.... the crew of this ship is moslty made from servitors, ...zbbbzzzz.... the command staff is currelty indisposed... zzbbzzzz....

- Hey what's in there, I am sure i saw people?

- ...zzzbbzzzz... You are to stay within your quarter and your desiganted area,..zbbzzz... until further notice or that you have been given leave by the captain...zzzbbbzzzz....

- They told me this place was cold but that's un understatement...

[ppssshhhh door closing sound]

As you look around you, this is a pretty normal room, a bit small even, there is a huge armored closet taking a good 1/4 of the room.

-"Why did they have to give me the broom closet?", as the void master walks toward the closet and slides the locked open to peer inside,"If it's in my room, it must not be off limit right?", followed by a few seconds of transition from curiosity to complete dread, "Sorry, i did not know you where in there!! The Emperor be my guide, I did not want to disturbe you!".

In front of him, is a huge powered armor figure holding a plasma gun, all of exquisite quality. Sure that he had done what was not allowed, the Voidmaster open is mounth trying to save is skin by pumping out any excuse he coudl image but just then the information sank in, quite impossible information at that... there was a red ribbon around the power armor and a note attached to a wax seal that read :

"Hello my deer new friend, on behalf of me and the crew, welcome to the Serpent of the Void.

Please excuse the level of secrety but until we leave, the ship is under total lockdown to prevent information leaks.

Thank you

Yours trully Rogue Trader"

Are we giving them the armor or allowing them to use the armor while they are apart of the crew? If we are giving it away, are we still paying them?

it's a VoidMaster one of the command staff, the one that will do the hit and runs... so technically yes and he will end up knowign more then you since he is not a SM and what not!

;)

Well auctually, I am part of the command staff. Secondly, the question was simply about giving away priceless suits of armor. For comaparsion, this is like givivng away a Bentley to the new jounior executive, as well as the 250K starting salary.

Dear lord, me gusta this intro :)

Recap: After we all finally meet up at Port Wander and finish our chit chat, we head off to our destination.*I cannot for the life of me remember where we were trying go, Footfall?* While still inside the warp, we ran into an old, archeotech space station. Seeing that it's gellar fields still worked, we hopped on over to see what it's deal. The marines+captain waste the big xeno dude squatting in there, but before we get a chance to loot, this wormhole starts opening up, so we book it back to the Serpent of the Void. As it starts getting bigger, our captain orders full speed ahead into it. Deciding that was stupid, the navigator does a quick emergency bail out from the warp.

It seems to have worked, as we find ourselves in real space. It had 2 side effects, something ripped out our auger array, and our navigation spire, along with most of the navigators imploded. Luck is on our side, we exited in a system. Moreso, there seemed to be a habitable planet in system, so we go to check it out while we wait for our navigator Jones to get out of his coma*the first of many from our command staff and marines.* So we go down planet side and hey look natives even better human natives. Even better still they aren't hostile. They seem to have disporontable amount of psykers, for better and oh god why so much worse. Except they don't have a problem with daemons/possession, they haven't even heard of them. And they have this cool psy crystal stuff you can shape/control with your mind if your a psyker. Speaking with the locals, it seems they have had some contact with offworlders before *another RT relatively recently, and the Imperium as whole a much longer time ago. They recognized the space marines for what they are and follow the imperial creed, albeit an altered version. Thusly, we planned to exploit the jesus out of them.

Things go astray when we were decided to not be worthy of....something, but we could go to this temple to earn our right...or something like that. But we couldn't enter for another 40-100 local years, so we said **** that and entered the underground temple anyways. Turns out it was a massive under archeotech manufacturing plant. Full of Iron Men. So we book it out of there. As we run like scared *******, back to our ship. Once there, a number of Iron show themselves on the ship to Felix, who agrees to help them, all in secret. Tracking a number of their shuttles, they are heading to the system's edge, where the star base happened to be. We head out there, bust some robot skulls *while losing like all of our remaining human dudes*.

We head back to the planet to see what's what now. A massive Iron Man is there, complete with heavy armour divisions, fighter wings, and a few titans. We head to the manufactorum to try and blow it up. We ignore the Imperator Titan sitting in there all alone*despite me saying we should steal it*, till there is some gentle DM prodding, so we steal the sucker and go on a rampage while 2 marines stay behind to blow the place. We hold off a massive swarm of Iron Men trying to take it back while Felix gets the thing going, ending with a lot of dead enemy, including all their titans, including the one Felix curb stomped to death.

So we go back, they are pretty pissed but hey we still saved them so they just kinda give us one of the psyker warrior orders. They also tell us how of the leader of the 5th order, who told us to gtfo before. So we go to where he disappeared and decide to poke the odd pillar standing in the middle. That opened a massive warp gate thing in orbit over us 10km wide. We then decided to leave to get more crew/supplies/take a breather.

You know, we seem a lot less heroic and intelligent in short recap form...I'm sure I've missed something but that's the general gist of it.

I think Getit was talking about giving our armsmen the power armour to use. To which, I've been assuming we are.

Getit - You're a part of the Command staff of the Blood Angels, but not a part of our chain of command. You don't have an officer position, and don't qualify for one because yours is a purely external loyalty. So, you know, try to play nice with the other people of Authority, since while yours would likely supercede theirs, you're also on our ship.

Maybe if you hadn't so blatantly screwed up the plans of the Captain, you'd be more privy to official ship-borne authority...

Well that sounds like an awesome Adventure....Sad I missed it :(

be careful, pissing off the space marines have caused many a death of a rogue trader.

Further, breaking deals is always a bad idea.

Just Saying!

Ok looks like everyone wants to spilt it and each person gets an acquisition. Getit you still want to get the vehicles with yours?

Also I don't think you said what was on the datapad I found.

I kinda required to use mine on the ship, because I am a Astartes, my gear and stuff comes from them. Timeless has not told me if I can use it on other stuff.

Timeless, quick question: could I pick up a MIU unit with my acq

No problem, I'll grab them then. Can we use the DH books for gear? I know some GM don't like to use them.

Hey guys, I won't be able to make it today, because I have to help a buddy of mine move.

Tonight's game is going to be canceled. We will continue next week for sure. I will post more details during the week.

So.. we still doing this?

I hope so!!happy.gif

Ok, as of right now, I am planning to have the game tonight at the normal time. If for some reason this changes I will post here again.

Will we be emailed the vent info?

Everyone will receive 250 xp.

In addition, I will be moving the game to Saturday nights at the same time. This is to better fit my schedule, and so we will pick up on the 19th of this month. I know some of you can't make it if we have the games on the weekend, and I am sorry for changing the day. If you will not longer be able to make it please contact me, and I will be sending out messages to those that I remember had schedule conflicts.
