To add my view, I am planning on making an Archmilitant who comes from Preatoria (that's ye olde victorian British army planet) possibly noble born, so I might be a somewhat faceman for the team..jsut need to roll my numbers to make sure first...and we DO have a Missionary, so that means my char will only compliment

Sorry, the currently listed character is just an Assassin for a DH game I'm no longer in, I'm modifying it for rogue trader. I'll have the Command (Ideally rank one, if I can swing the Origin Path, worst case rank 2 and I'll take Talented (Command)) skill and at the least a good fellowship (Hiveworlder with a decent roll). To be honest, the concept is based loosely off of the Desperado from Ascension, sort of a Baron that couldn't cut into the properly ranked aristocracy and so seized authority by bold cunning instead.

Please do give him a chance before condemning him as a Captain, he's still too much the assassin. I'm working on him today to get him into the Captain role proper.

To insure my usefullness on your vessel warrant older I have made extensive studies in the field of:

As for Fel goes mine's a little above average and I get cheap upgrades, plus I planned on him being talkitive so if he does end up being our Face that's alright. As for Tequila's assassin Trader, I don't see the problem with one who's puts much more emphasis on the first part of the name then the last, at least personally There's cannon Traders like that to set the precedent.

Well, I'm going to have sick fellowship. The background is more that he started as an assassin, and clawed his way up the ladder to become a crime lord on Scintilla. The nice thing about that kind of power, backed by the authority of Sam Jackson grade bad assery, is it's enough to manipulate, lie, cheat, and blackmail myself a warrant. So while i won't have command off the bat, I will have Scrutiny, Deceive, Charm and likely Intimidate and a fel of either 50 or 45 (haven't finished my origin path yet) and hopefully a swarm of contacts to at least ease us through.

I have read your recent communica, if you would be so nice as to "keep" for me a few "specimen" of the squat, I would be very interested in studying them. I beleive some of their genetic adaptation where par ofthe disproportionate frame of the Space Marine Geneseed, the Squat display similar musuclar propotion for their scale... I beleive 2 male specimen and a femal should be enough. I shall be able to breed enough testing stock out of them... of course this should stay between you and me, since I doubt your Rogue Trader will see this in a good eye!

On my side, I am glad to informe you that, contrary to my doubt, I have not been assigned to a back world transport but to a Flag ship... Alto the exact details of my assignement are vague, there seams to have been a problem with the ship I was previously assigned too as the Capitain was assassinated at the docks...

It greatly pleased my new leige who had been denied any Admech help until all the previous assignement had been filed up. By some random fortune, all the previous requester died, retracted their request or postponed their request. The Ommishua works in mysterious ways. I should note that the low level clerk that was breifing me was sweating profiously and seamed in a bad shape. I enquired if reservising him to a Sevo-skull or a murder servitor would eleviate is troubles but he declined the favor... ( it seams that even a smile as you sugested I use did not make the offer more tempting to him but ony triggered more sweating and a release of is blader.)

When the ritual of assignement was complete and the name of the familly warrant older proclaimed, the rest of the my brothers gave me a wide cricle of respect to let me pass, I guess my work as preceeded me, the air of deference and respect they showed me trigger a sense of plaisure at a very high degree, I had not felt sutch high level of endorphine in my receptors in a long while. Nedless to say a quick regulation of my blood flow and corrected this lapse... There are very few Magos behing assigned this for out the Imperium of mankind, i am sure I was assigned to the most dedicated and loyal crew that the Ommishua as seen.

A few things that I need to discuss,

First, I have received a request to move the game to Thursday. This time is ok for me, but I will not make the change unless everyone in the group can make that time as well. If this does not work for schedule please let me know.

Next, several of the players have not sent or linked me to there character. To everyone who has not done so, please send me this information as soon as you can, perferablely no later than tomorrow evening. If everyone agrees to move the game to Thursday then I will extend this deadline to Wednesday. Lastly, if anyone feels they need more time, then I will push back the first game session to next week.

Lastly, I would like to know which starship rules you would like to use, the ones I have been working on, or the ones as written in the core rule book. Majority will determine this, and I will break a tie if that happens. If you have not seen the new rule set I have been working on, please contact me and I will send you a link.

In terms of combat ability, what are we looking at as a group? I'm going agility and BS as main skills, focusing on a very eldar-like combat style: Very mobile, relying on not getting hit rather then going as a tank with a focus on one hit kills (through poison, Accurate weaponry, and sheer badassery). I will admittedly not be a very good team-based combatant, but I'm playing an assassin of sorts so that's to be expected.

The game will be at 7pm central US time Tuesdays. I am planning on running a game today. We will be using vent the same server that is used for asajev's game for those who were in it. Since i am not at my computer, if someone who has the vent information could post it you would have my thanks. I will be on 15 to 30 mins early before the game starts if anyone would like to ask me questions.
