[So]Rice's Germans (Round 3!)

By [So]Rice, in Dust Tactics

Here's my third Core Set of Germans. These were done for Ryan Clarke who will be using them to demo Dust Tactics at DragonCon 2011. The models need some touch-up and I am still waiting for an order of decals from Dust Models. C&C Welcome as always!

Dude, your terrain is killer (units aside). Consider me inspired to take mine more seriously once other stuff abides.

One thing in particular I like is the concrete wall shot modding...nice touch.

The German units are cool, btw. A little surprised you didn't add a touch of laser glow, but that's fine. I like that your Germans are dark and gray (all properly dark-washed, etc.) ...def got that old WWII feel. (I grew up w/ a b&w TV)

Wow, that action shot is how I want to play! Very good work here, your models really have style. Wish i was going to dragoncon:(

Those red brick buildings are awesome for WWII, is that train set stuff you used or gameing terrain you can buy?

Thanks, Laser Glow? That is a great idea, thanks Lotus! The Laser Grenadiers are going get glowing yellow eyes and blue lasers.

@Pooflinger76: The red brick buildings are WWII 1:35 terrain (a bit big for Dust Tactics, but it works fine). It's very expensive though, I would go with Wargaming Terrain if I didn't pick up the majority of the buildings for this table for $10 at a Scale Model Contest. The rest of the terrain is from Gamesworkshop, Tamiya, and scratch-builds.

those are fantastic, well worth the price of commission, i'm sure.

Great work Rice. I wish I could paint half as fast as you...spent half a day painting and I still havent finished Manfred.

They look nice, and the in actions shots are really good! By the way, Is this your highest level of paintjob? I was wondering as they don't look at all like your highest level models that are in your own force.

Thanks everyone, will be doing the Allies sometime soon whenever I get a break with school.

@Bravester: They are the highest quality. These do not have any camo and the bases are different (WiP still), but the quality is the same. The walkers look plain and need decals and the Laser Grenadiers need glowing effects. They are still very WiP.

So your going to be doing camo on them? That will look great!

Great work as always! Keep it up.
