GM Screen

By Barad The Dwarf, in Dark Heresy

Hi, I bought a GM screen about christmas and it looked great. Very sturdy and all. But now only a couple of months later and only after using it 6 or 7 times the screen starts to rip in the middle between the two center panels. I just discovered it like this yesterday, it's been on my bookshelf for two months and I take good care of this stuff. It's started to rip from the bottom up. Anyone else had this problem?

Certainly! I bought mine from a book store and it was in crappy condition. But htere is a simple solution to fix that! Used clear plastic tape adn have tap run down the middle on both sides. Your GM screen wont be able to close in hte middle but it will keep it in good condition.

I've had mine since they were released, and it's still in perfect condition, despite being used for all my Dark Heresy games.

No problems with it here!

Well i used plastic tape already but find it very sad that this is happening. You pay for it, it should stand a lot of time and use.

Which version do you have? The old Black Industries version of the FFG release?

The BI one had many issues with it. From the material (thick card stock) to the way it folded. The FFG one is spectacular!

Other then that, clear tape or get it sealed at kinkos or some other kinkos like store.

As far as I know the FGG one. I know it's sturdy that's why it's suprised me to see it torn already.

Mine is still in very good shape (amazingly). Ditto for my Rogue Trader and Deathwatch screens.
