Well, I know how well questions tend to go here, but what the heck...
If I understand correctly, when playing on a square grid, you pick a direction for a charge, and can charge in that direction or either of the directions 45 degrees from it.
For example, if you charge 'North', you can move North, Northeast, or Northwest.
This seems to give an awful lot of freedom; if someone is in a straight line from you with a huge wall in the way, you can easily run right around the wall to charge them.
Am I understanding this correctly?
If so, might it not be better to allow a charge along only two directions? IE: You can go North and Northeast. Or, you could choose to go North and Northwest. But you can't swerve back and forth.
