When you lose a life point from Dawnstone or Glass Guardians etc. do you also lose the Warhorse or are these items considered as seperated from the character?

I'm not sure which card is the "Glass Guardians" (perhaps a Quest Reward I've forgot), but the Warhorse is always discarded when you lose a battle or psychic combat and are forced to lose a Life. No matter if you take it from the Character life pile of from other sources.
Still, if you have Armour or Spells that prevent the loss of Life, they help to save the Warhorse too.
