I'm considering tossing 'Ruru together and am unsure as to weather I should go with good or water. I've had water built a short while ago with Sakura so I know it should be solid. I haven't tried good reversal in quite some time. any input I can get on either of these deck lists would be appreciated.

I'm confused as to why the Good version has Yugao but the Water version doesn't. Tech?

im running wisdom from a confident in my good version with darkness blade so i can stack my checks then hit darkness blade off of a demuths sponsorship its really good tech i love it specially with fight or flight

Olcadan's Mentoring should be maindecked. Even though you're eating up their foundations, it's still a 6 check and a +0L block.

replace Olcadan's with Ayame's Scarf in the sideboard.

gives you more attacks, more board commital, and speed pumps. Stardust Drop is a throw too, which is great with Ruru's E

yeah maybe 3 or each wouldnt be a bad suggestion and adding in the kung-fu training is a good idea as well

I edited the water list a little. maybe I'll have time this weekend to test these builds a little more.

i would go with water. right now good is fairly good (pun intended) but it realy isn't a reversal symbol.

have you playtested either version? or are you waiting 2 finish getting suggestions before you start building?

If you havent maybe you should try them each and see which one your liking better or which one is better in a competitive format....ive found that even if there are only minor differences that each version of a deck can play alot different and might not fit the way you want it 2 work

I've played a water Sakura deck that is similar to this one a little while ago. I'm testing the good version as of now.

well let us know how the good version performs what it did and didnt do and what it has problems with because i dont have any other suggestions as of right now

I would almost consider running Wind storm over yugao in the good build, with it as a reversal and nako, you destroy 2 foundations (though wind storm's enhance is only playable on your opponents turn.

for the water build ayame's scarf techs very nicely with stained honor. +5 to your check to reversal buy dropping anything you check by 5 (ayame's stops the negative mod so you still check whatever you actually checked.

I only had time for one game of testing today with the good version and my opponent was running a block 2 Guy off chaos. the match actually went much longer than I anticipated as I was able to constantly disrupt his game plan I and ended up winning with a darkness blade to the dome. I'll have to get some matches in this coming week against some block 3 decks to see how it fairs.
