multiply copies Taste of blood n other questions

By aulitier, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Wanna to check

1) if Martell player have 3 copies of Taste of Blood in play, attached to 3 characters. When he loses a challenge. Does he claim 3 powers after loosing?

2) When 2 players played Plot cards Threat from the North. Does all characters in play - 2 str or - 1 str?

3) Player 1 played Threat from the North (-1 str) & The winds of winter (-1 to opponent while it winter) Does the opponent - 2 str?

Thanks

All three of those scenarios stack. Its all additive. Unless something has a limited response or says "Limit One Per Phase" or something like that, you are able to trigger it multiple times from different sources.

Yes, the -STR modifiers on the plots would also stack.

I may be misunderstanding your question here, but it is currently impossible for a single player to have 2 revealed plots at the same time. If you meant to say Player 1 reveals (do not that plots are never played, only revealed) Threat from the North, then uses some card effect to reveal The Winds of Winter, then his/her opponent(s)'s characters will only have -1 STR at any point in time, never -2 STR.

I'd guess he's thinking more about the situation where player #1 has Threat and player #2 has Winds of Winter.

Thanks Guys. Yes. I mean two different players reveal the plot cards individually.

I would like to clarify the below two cards too

- For midnight Sentry Str 1 (Characters with stalwart +1 str), so total become Str 2.

if i have two copies of midnight sentry in play, Am I right to say of my midnight sentry is total Str 3 each (+1 +1 + base str 1=3?)

- Similar for Martell Alchemist's Shop (While characters you control get +2 Str and gain deadly). If I happen to have 2 copies of Alchemists Shop. My character with weapon +4STR??

Thanks

Yes for both cards.

total STR

aulitier, you have essentially asked the same question 4 times here. The general rule/concept you are looking for here is that each individual card is resolved separately, even if it has the same name as another card that is in play.

Each individual card create a separate and individual modifying lasting effect (in all your examples except Taste for Blood, which just resolves and is done). When a character is subject to multiple modifying effects, you add all the modifiers together and apply the result.

That's the reasoning to apply to situations as they come up.
