Any Phase - Robert Baratheon

By Calraven, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

One card version of Robert Baratheon has the following text: Any Phase: Stand Robert Baratheon. Use this ability only if there are no cards in shadows.

As long as there are no cards in shadows, can I use this ability multiple times so that he can attack more than once and defend more than once in each challenge type that he qualifies for?

Absolutely.

Note that you will only have one opportunity to declare attackers/defenders in each challenge. If Robert is standing when this opportunity comes along (and he is not otherwise prevented from participating), he can be declared. But the fact that he can stand - a lot - does not create multiple opportunities to be declared.

I'm sure that you knew that already and that you were really asking about participating once in multiple challenges (instead of multiple participation in one challenge), but I didn't want the wording of the original question to confuse anyone.

Indeed, I meant multiple challenges. Thanks for the replies!!
