Eliminated of the game

By argyles, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Greetings , i have a question about the game rules and specifically one part of the faq document.

in 4.6 it says : eliiminated of the game [...bla bla when a player is eliminated... bla bla] . so the question is :

how can a player be eliminated ? i have searched everything and couldnt find the answer .

In joust or melee or other multiplayer versions like kingsmoot/civil war/hand of the king how can a player be eliminated ?

does it mean when a guy has to leave the table for something sudden and concedes ? or is it a rule for ccg with doomed cards ? but the faq is for lcg not the ccg . I wonder if in the future they implement a way to eliminate an opponent. But for now i cannot find anything . do i miss something ?

I asked myself the same question yesterday. I think it has something to do with tournament rules. I guess that if you are caught cheating, you are eliminated, or something like that.

Primarily, it is related to the Doomed mechanic from the CCG era. It was probably left in the LCG's FAQ in case an elimination mechanic is ever introduced into the LCG (kind of a "why reinvent the wheel?" theory).
