Do melee and ranged Action Cards fully recharge immediately after combat is completely finished? I assume so, and I know the info must be right there in plain sight, but for the life of me I can't find it listed anywhere and its driving me nuts. This has become a bit of a bone of contention among the players in my group so if anyone can list book and page that would be very, very helpful.
Recharging Action Cards
As per ToA, page 13 "The Rally Step", you only remove 1 recharge token per card.
I don't know if there is a particular mention of this anywhere. But I let my players recharge all action cards instantly when moving into story mode.Basically because it makes no sense not to do it and we've allways done it like that so there might be a mention about it somewhere in the books.
The answer is: "It depends."
socratim is correct in a sense, that is a combat is "over", but might continue or a new one starts shortly, then it is essentially a Rally Step (or two) and you would only remove one or two tokens.
Otherwise, given the length of time Story mode covers, as long as a reasonable amount of time passes (10 min or so, I'd guess) that makes it significantly longer than a Rally Step, then all the actions should refresh fully.
Okay, thanks people. I appreciate your responses!
It's the question of "are you going between Acts or Episodes".
Between Acts, its Rally Step (1 token, minor Stress/Fatigue etc.).
End of Episode, it's Interlude and recharge everything, get back Stress = WP, Fatigue = To, go back to equilibrium period in favour etc.
