Hi:
Thinking of buyin this, yet, I'm worried about the replay value this game has. Is getting repetitive after a couple of plays the norm? Are you itchin' for new expansions?
Should I worry?
Thanks!

I find the dynamic changes once you've gotten to the point where you know all three Objectives well enough to remember the details of each (there are more than three possible set ups for each scenario though--the first has twelve different configurations, and the rest even more than that--but that just changes the route through the rooms, rather than the win/lose conditions). Once everyone knows what the Keeper potentially needs to do to win, it becomes more a game of tactics and misdirection.
New expansions and scenarios are certainly good to keep up the surprise factor of a new scenario though, that's true. There's still a very good board game there after you've got through all fifteen base scenarios, and that's not counting fan-made and home-made ones (although they certainly could have done better at facilitating playing those).
Hi:
Thanks for the answer!
So lemme get this straight: there are 15 scenarios but only 3 objectives to win the game, as a whole?

5 scenarios, each with 3 different Objectives = 15 plays before you get into rerun format. Personally, one play of Scenario #5 was enough for me, no real interest in revisiting that, have played scenarios 1-4 with each of the three Objectives and Season of th Witch POD scenario once (two more plays waiting).

No. The core game comes with five different scenarios, no more. Each scenario has three different conclusions (or objectives, in game terms).
Each scenario has a fixed board layout but the different objectives means that components (such as clues, puzzles, weapons, etc) are located in different rooms of that layout. The different objectives for each scenario also mean that the winning and losing conditions are different, so in total there are 15 different objectives but set in 5 layouts.
Once you have played the same scenario with the three different objectives, there is a question of replayability for some players (because they have seen it before or because they can work out the situation and meta-game). There is also the issue that certain scenarios and objectives will "not work" with some players or groups, because they will find the scenario / objective somewhat lame / dull / daft / too difficult / too easy.
Keep in mind that it's a board game and REAL replayability is limited ONLY by your imagination.
You can change rules, you can create your own brand new scenarios(as any other aspects of the game).
There is already plenty of custom scenarions(more than 10), and I'm still yet to finish with default ones.

Where can I find them?
